Old Navy Not-So-Basics

I buy a lot of my basics from Old Navy...  bright skinny jeans, sweaters, and more.  But recently, I chose a few items online (and on sale!) that had the bones of basics with a little flair.

Old Navy
I loved this sweater because it had a sweet all-over print but was basic enough to match with a lot of accessories, pants, and skirts.  I have it in brown with an adorable fox on it too.

I have plenty of skinny jeans, certainly some in bright colors (think red, hot pink, dark pink, and yellow!), but these "basil pesto" jeans seemed like a good color to wear year-round at work.  I buy them on super-clearance.

Who could resist this demure animal print?  (Is that an oxymoron?)  I felt like this was a subtle way to wear animal print at work without looking too Jersey Shore.

Aren't these pretty things?  LOL.  I know, two shopping posts in a row.  But I am trying to stretch out the enjoyment of the year-end sales I took part in, because I'm quitting shopping cold-turkey for the month of January!  :)

Until then, expect to see some "window-shopping" posts around here!

    1. Yes! My Old Navy fox sweater gets so many compliments, and everyone is shocked because they think it's J. Crew or Anthropologie. Almost 100% of my pants are from Old Navy, because they're sales and promo codes are so good! I also can order Short pant lengths to avoid hemming.
